caissons

Ever wonder how they get concrete poured below the water line?

The CAISSONS are the integral part of the formwork that allows the interior space to be dry and free of water, debris and offers the workers a safe space to complete the work.

Casissons  are typically huge compared to most formwork.  Often they are long and extend deep into a bay, river, lake, or areas likes marshes.
