Rapid Set Concrete

This mix achieves 3,000psi in 4 hours. Use on projects where time is a constraint. Product is batched onsite, with a workable window of 20 minutes. Fiber’s are recommended for increased durability.

Tail Gate – Chute & Boom Pump Concrete Mix Designs

Tail gate/chute & boom pump mix designs are tailored for direct discharge from our barrel trucks, perfect for accessible sites like driveways, large foundations and slabs. These commercial-grade ready-mix designs offer slumps of 3-5 inches, with aggregate sizes up to 1 inch for durability.

Concrete Line Pump Mix Designs

Our 50/50 blended concrete line pump mix designs are optimized for smooth pumping through 2.5″ line pumps. These mixes feature higher slump (typically 4-6 inches), finer aggregates (max 3/4 inch), and admixtures like water reducers and air entrainers to enhance flowability and reduce blockages. Ideal for foundations, patios, driveways and hard-to-reach areas. Available in strengths from 3000 PSI to 5000 PSI.

NO AIR Concrete Mix Designs

These are 50/50 blended mixes, designed for concrete line pumps w/2.5″ hoses. They contain only naturally occurring air content, generally around 1%, making these mix designs great for slick troweled floors, pole barn floors or in places where the concrete is not exposed to freezing conditions.

Pea Gravel 3/8″ Line Pump Concrete Mixes

Looking for a stamp mix? This mix is 50% Sand, and 50% 3/8″ Pea Gravel. Great for patios, walkways and decorative concrete. This is air entrained for outdoor durability.

Pea Gravel Exposed Concrete Mix Designs

Our pea gravel exposed aggregate mix designs create beautiful, durable surfaces with a natural stone finish. Using 3/8-inch pea gravel as the primary aggregate, these mixes are designed for easy exposure via washing or retarders, revealing the gravel for decorative patios, walkways, and driveways. Available in 3500-4000 PSI strength with air entrainment for freeze-thaw resistance.

Sand Finish Concrete Mix Designs

58% Sand & 42% Aggregate make this an ideal decorative mix design for acid etching. Choose from Pea Gravel or a 50/50 blend (half pea gravel half 3/4″)

CLSM (Controlled Low Strength Materials)

CLSM from Volume Concrete LLC meets and exceeds all state and local requirements, including ODOT 00442. These flowable fills are ideal for backfilling trenches, voids, and utility installations. Grouts

Volume Concrete LLC offers a range of high-performance grouts for filling voids, anchoring, and structural repairs. Our grouts are cement-based with available additional flowable and pumpable consistencies via plasticizers. Ideal for CMU block fill, pipe abandonment filling, and void stabilization. Shotcrete

High Strength Shotcrete for pools, spas, ponds, and structural reinforcement. Requires specialized equipment and trained personnel.

Cellular Grout/Concrete (pumps long distances)

GREAT PRODUCT FOR BACKFILLING AND DECOMMISIONGIN. Why use cellular concrete for underground pipe decommissioning? It pumps easily into confined cavities with lower line pressure, making it safer and more effective. This reduces risks compared to conventional grouts, allowing longer pushes against grade or into elbows and bends. Applications include decommissioning sewer lines, water lines, cisterns, tanks, and underground cavities. Cellular Grout Backfill is beneficial for new foundations, with very little lateral pressures applied.

Our cellular concrete (cellular grout) consists of Portland cement, sand, water, and approximately 25-75% foam, generated on-site and mixed vigorously before pumping. We provide experience for minor and major projects in the Portland Metro area, exceeding ASTM and ODOT standards with support from Aerix Industries.
